Cecil Rhodes

Corbet Report has a video about Cecil Rhodes´ role in fomenting World War One. In the video, James Corbet explains how Rodes formed a secret society. But it was not so secret at all. The New York Times wrote an article about it in the April 9, 1902, edition of the paper, shortly after Rhodes’ death. Under the title “Mr. Rhodes’s Ideal of Anglo-Saxon Greatness” the article says:

He Believed a Wealthy Secret Society Should Work to Secure the World’s Peace and a British-American Federation.

and

the idea for the development of the English-speaking race was the foundation of a society copied, as to organization, from the Jesuits.
