I guess you have long ago noticed how politicians, medical advisers, scientist, and other so-called experts tend to either neglect potential risks or upscale them.
for more than 100 years there have been warnings against the use of mercury in dentistry. Mercury is one of the most poisonous substances on earth. The experts who represent the public health care systems say: “Nothing to fear. It is totally safe!”
Since the mobile phones came about there have been warnings against them because of their radiation. The experts who represent the public health care systems say: “Nothing to fear. It is totally safe!”
For decades many scientists have warned about the use of antibiotics. They have said that it destroys the gut flora in the intestines and the overuse of it can cause bacteria to become resistant. The experts who represent the public health care systems and the animal farmers have for many years said: “Nothing to fear. It is totally safe!” They don’t say that any longer.
For many years researchers and independent journalists have said that the CIA is spying on every one of os through our cell phones and computers and monitoring our digital foodprint via our traffic on Social Media etc. The experts who represent the government and the security systems have for as many years said: “Nothing about it. The internet is totally safe!” They don’t say that any longer.
But here is the totally opposite situation:
For the last 10-15 years, many scientists have said that the idea of man-made climate change is not true. They say that it is large scale alterations on the suns surface – which have occurred as long as the sun has been observed – that creates the climate on the earth. But the scientist who represents the powers and governments of the world say: “Wrong! It is man-made CO2 that is causing climate change!”
Take CO2. It has become the biggest threat to humanity. Every one agrees. Or rather: The media tells us that there is no disagreement among the worlds leading scientists.
It is said that the reason why many people do not really fear climate change because it is vague, abstract and difficult to visualize.
